This webinar, presented by the Centre for Immigrant Research explores key findings about gender-based violence from the “Voices in the Art” project and shares best practices for supporting newcomer 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.

This conference created a platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange on immigration and settlement, featuring community-based research and practice-focused discussions on newcomer inclusion, digital innovation, education, climate adaptation, and workforce integration.

This webinar introduces “The Seeker” a knowledge and empowerment hub for immigrant professionals as they transition into Canadian society. This was created out of a 3-year IRCC-funded project. Learn about the process of developing The Seeker and how service providers can utilize this to serve their immigrant professional clients effectively.

This webinar series explores hybrid and technology-supported literacy education for adult ESL learners, focusing on digital inclusion, equitable teaching practices, and accessible hybrid learning environments.

This conference, organized by the Centre, brought together researchers, service providers, policymakers, and newcomer women to examine emotional wellness as a barrier to economic integration, while sharing research findings, lived experiences, and collaborative approaches to newcomer mental health and wellbeing.
